Prostitution Diversion Program in Florida

Our prostitution diversion program in Florida is designed to educate and empower survivors of commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking by providing a structure and framework to uncover harmful psychological coercion (a.k.a. “The Game”) that victims may have been subjected to during or before their exploitation experience. The overarching goal of our prostitution diversion program in Florida is to foster a deeper awareness of trafficking victims’ needs and offer practical skills to aid in victim resiliency.

A goal of our training is to increase the ability of sex trafficking victims to act independently of negative influences and coercion. Our prostitution diversion program in Florida will be led by sex trafficking survivors using lecture, small group activities, video clips, and application exercises. By revealing a sequence of commonly-used, yet seldom-explained, mind control techniques used by traffickers, sexual abusers, media and other coercive agents, we aim to empower victims to acquire skills and end “The Game.”
