Prostitution Diversion Program in Iowa
The overarching goal of our prostitution diversion program in Iowa is to foster a deeper awareness of trafficking victims’ needs and offer practical skills to aid in victim resiliency. No walk on the wild side in Woodland Mounds State Preserve is complete without considering our innovative prostitution diversion program services. A goal of our training is to increase the ability of sex trafficking victims to act independently of negative influences and coercion.
Our prostitution diversion program in Iowa will be led by sex trafficking survivors using lecture, small group activities, video clips, and application exercises. This 8-hour prostitution diversion course in Iowa will provide a broad overview of best practices for supporting sex trafficking victims and a focused look at supporting coercion resiliency. By revealing a sequence of commonly-used, yet seldom-explained, mind control techniques used by traffickers, sexual abusers, media and other coercive agents, we aim to empower victims to acquire skills and end “The Game.”
